If you are a teenager and planning to go to any of these places without your parents, I think that you're really independent and probably have a lot of cash to blow (I wish I had that kind of a lifestyle). I'll give you a very brief wrap-up of each city you mentioned:

NYC: incredibly busy, bustling; all kinds of neighborhoods - celebrity infested areas, druggie infested areas, middle class areas (the majority). Also the most expensive of all cities you mentioned. But it will be an experience that will remain with you long even after it's over; also has the most activities and sightseeing to do of all cities mentioned. With its incredile human diversity, this city truly never sleeps.

Miami: The highlight of Miami is its beach area - a beach unmatched in beauty; the beach area is surrounded by wonderful high-end bars and restaurants, and is also famous for its presence of aspiring models, so there's a good chance of hot bikini babes. Some really good beachside hotels too. Without the beach, Miami is mostly like any ordinary American metropolis. So if you want a "tropical", relaxed resort vacation, head to Miami.

Chicago: think of it as a New York slightly toned down on the activities and diversity and increased on architecture; this city boasts the most skyscrapers in America and an incredible diversity of them. So if you're into urban or architectural sightseeing, this is the place to be.

Hollywood: I think you mean L.A. Beautiful weather, some really good chances of celebrity sightings in certain areas (Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills etc.), rivalled only by NYC; also plenty of movie studios to visit and a good beach. I can best describe it as a cross between Miami and NYC, but with way more celebrity population - if you are lucky enough to meet them and know the right places to find them.

My personal pick would be NYC, but you can decide for yourself. Hope this helps.
