Do i need extra travel insurance?
I have a pretty atandard one, but i will be doing adventure stuff while im away, horse riding diving etc. but nothing like bungee jumping.
i compared my insurance to the one the company offers, and they have the same categories i.e . none for 'adventure sports' or activities like the one im doing.
do u think i need extra insurance for these though? if i got hurt while riding, would i be covered?? anybody? :)
Your standard policy may be all you need. If you are unsure, call the company and ask them directly.
Be sure that your policy does not exclude the activities you will be participating in.. If you are diving, many plans have strict rules related to this type of activity (certifications may be required in order to receive coverage)..
Since you will be participating in different adventure sports, ask about medical evacuation.. Make sure you have this benefit because the cost of a medical evacuation is unbelievable.
Travel Insurance is not too expensive, so you may want to buy a policy just to be on the safe side.
