sat nav route destination..my guide 3128?
Hi,
If i am travelling say for example to brighton from birmingham, i enter the relevant postcodes and my sat nav gives me the route to follow, but what happens if i stop off at services half way?......obviously im gonna take my sat nav with me into the services, if i turn it off by the button on the top will it keep my route?...(there is a on/off press button on the top and a on/off slide button on the back)...or will i have to key the brighton postcode back in from where i am?.....or do i just leave it turned on whilst im in services for a while, before continuing my journey?.....
instructions dont cover this scenario, so wondering if anybody knows the best solution....?

I have 3 different makes of sat navs for different vehicles. They all remember the route they were doing when switched off and then on again. They sometimes need a coiple of minutes to find the satelites when switched back on but they then just carry on from where they were switched off.
So take it in the services and switch it off.
