China Vacations Info - Hongkong Disney Travel Guide

This article is about the China vacations and you can find some useful information in it if you are planning your China vacations now.

The Hongkong Disney Park is not a big park and one day should be enough for your Hongkong Disney travel.

1. How to get in?
The Hongkong government put a lot of effort in the building of this Disney Park. Now you can have 2 convenient ways to get to this park:

(1). By Jiutiekuaixian (Disney Line): Taking this Disney Line, you can get to the Hongkong Disney Park from Guangzhou and get back to Guangzhou in the same day. The train will enter Hongkong through Luohu custom. If you choose this way to get to Hongkong Disney, you can take the Jiutiekuaixian train from Luohu to Shangshui first, then transfer a bus to Disney. The trip will take 1 hour and the cost is HK $ 70 (for the kid at 3-11 years old and seniors above 65, the cost is HK $ 50, no need for an ID to get this discount ). Here is some info about the bus service (Shangshui to Hongkong Disney Park): Office hours of Shangshui Bus Service is 9:00 - 13:00, available every 30 minutes. To get back from Hongkong Disney to Shangshui, the bus service is available at 13:00, 17:00, 18:00. After 18:00, the bus is available at: 19:00, 19:30, 20:00, 20:30, etc. The last bus back to Shangshui is available at one hour after the Disney firework show.

(2). By subway of Hongkong. The Hongkong subway system is very mature and convenient. The cost is low and tickets discount is available for the kids and seniors. To get to the Hongkong Disney Park, you can take the subway to the station named "Xin ao" (in the Dongyong Line) first, then transfer to the Subway Disney Line. The trains in this Line is decorated in the Disney style, pretty cool, :-)

Some tips:
(1). If you choose the Jiutiekuaixian (Disney Line), you'd better sit in the 10th, 11th or 12th carriage of the train. They are closer to the waiting room of the bus service than other carriages and you can save some time.

(2). If you sit in the right side of the bus (from Shangshui to Disney), you will see the TSING Ma Bridge of Hong Kong. It is the world's longest road-rail bridge. You will need to sit in the left side to see this bridge in the way back to Shangshui of course.

(3). When you get off the Jiutiekuaixian (Disney Line), you will see a box office. A lot of people wait in a line there. Do not waste your time here because it is the box office of the subway. The box office of the Disney Park is several hundred meters away from here.

2. About the tickets of the Hongkong Disney Park:
The ticket price for the adult is: HK $ 295 (regular days), 350 (specific days), 350 (specail days).
For the kids (3-11 years old): HK$ 210 (regular days), 250 (specific days), 250 (specail days).
For the seniors (above 65): HK $ 170 (regular days), 200 (specific days), 200 (specail days).
( To get more information about the China vacations, Beijing flights and Lhasa travel, you can visit our web site: Travel2ChinaInfo Dot COM )

Some tips:
(1). You will see a very long line in front of the box office of the Hongkong Disney Park. If you don't want waste too much time waiting here, you should book your tickets online in advance.

(2). You can not bring food or drinks into the Disney Park (candies and cookies are ok). The Disney employees will check your bags at the entrance of this Disney Park.

3. About the fastpass:
You can get a free fastpass at the entrance of the Disney Park. There is info in this fastpass telling you when and where to use it.

4. About the firework show:
Although you can see the firework show in lots of places of the Disney Park, the best location is the square in front of the castle. You can have a better view of the Disney cartoon show here.

5. Food and drinks in Disney Park:
There are many restaurants in this Disney Park but they are a little bit expensive. HK $ 10 for a bottle of water, HK $ 45 for a dish of fried rice. The tourist souvenirs are expensive too. A pen will cost you HK $ 30. The Disney sun-hat is about HK $ 100. Disney Clown fish bag: HK $ 280.

Travel Guide for Family Holidays in Paris

There are the obvious sights to see when on holiday in Paris with the family, such as the Eiffel Tower, but the there are numerous beautiful gardens situated throughout the city that are a great way to relax with a picnic and let the children enjoy themselves on the playgrounds.

Many gardens have pony or donkey rides along with merry-go-rounds such as the famous old one at the Jardin du Luxembourg, which is a great thrill for the young children, but for the harder to please teenagers there are specific areas for skating and even activities like table tennis at the Parc Andre-Citroen.

During the summer months Paris comes alive with lots of different festivals, fetes and shows which take place all over the city, and from puppet shows to fairs through to open air jazz concerts, there is going to be something to keep everyone amused.

Yet how about going to the beach?  Well Paris may not be near to the beach, but every year they create a beach scene on the banks of the River Seine called the Paris Plage where they bring in tonnes of sand and create activities such as volleyball courts and even have a floating swimming pool.

Thinking of the River Seine, why not take a trip down the river on one of the traditional bateau mouches long-boats and see the famous monuments like Notre Dame cathedral, and you could even opt to have lunch or dinner on board, yet the evening is a fantastic experience with the bridges and the Paris landmarks all lit up along the route.

Rather than using the metro, younger children would often prefer a bus ride and you could choose a site seeing tour on an open double decker bus that goes around the city, which is a lot more fun.  One particular firm called the l’Open Tour buses has four different routes where you can even get to see places like the Sacre-Coeur Basilica.

You cannot forget about walking along the Champs Elysees with its famous shops, but when those little legs get tired, the Häagen-Dazs ice cream house will be a delight for all members of the family.

Ok, so you would like to get out of the city for the day.  Well how about a day trip to a Safari Park at the Parc Zoologique de Thoiry, which also has a beautiful chateau and a unique interactive maze, which is the only one of its kind in the world.  Also if you are into outdoor activities then there are a couple of great places such as the Base Regionale de Loisirs de Saint Quentin en Yvelines for activities like fishing, golf, sailing, a wave pool, quad biking, karting and even a tree top adventure centre called the Paris Ouest Aventure.

And of course there are the theme parks like Disneyland Paris and Parc Asterix, which we have all heard about, but what about the Mer de Sable, which has a wild west theme where you can see shows, yet if you prefer wildlife rather than wild rides, you can watch eagles in flight along with tree top walks at the Espace Rambouillet.  France Miniature is another theme park designed as a map of France showing numerous monuments and landmarks in miniature, but from here you may even wish to take a short trip to the famous Chateau de Versailles, where you can experience an equestrian show or fountain show on specific days during the summer months.

But what about in bad weather, we hear you asking.  Well, Paris is a city that has it all, with a wide variety of entertainment and activities available for all ages.  You could think about a visit to the Cite de Sciences and experience the Geode movie dome or different interactive experiments, then venture into the L’Argonaute submarine that sits just outside.

How about a circus?  This is often a good family entertainment option and Paris has two main circuses called the Cirque Diana Moreno Bormann and the Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione, and you can even book trapeze lessons or see shows at the Club Med World, but for the older members of your family, Club Med World also has a nightclub.

There are so many different options for shows, like magic at the Double Fond or a horse show at the Theatre Equestre Zingaro, but perhaps an aquarium would be of more interest to you and your family and in the centre of Paris there is the incredible CineAqua that has the largest viewing screen in the world.

PlayMobil is a great place for young children where they can actually play with different PlayMobil toys set out in different themes like a castle, or for older children and teenagers the, Aquaboulevard leisure centre will keep everyone entertained with the flumes, wave pool and jacuzzi’s etc, but don’t worry you could in the restaurant watching them!

You have no doubt gathered by now that Paris has so many activities on offer and we are only scratching the surface, but hopefully this has provided you with more of an insight into a city that caters for all ages, so you can plan your holiday and get the most out of it

On the other hand, we didn't forget about all the nature lovers and we created a special section dedicated to the several Natural Parks located in Liguria. We explored the great natural beauties enriching all the area, abounding in flora and fauna thanks to the precious presence of the Mediterranean scrub, which still today offers us the opportunity to marvel at rare and unique animal and vegetal species.

In addition, a special section was dedicated to the "Cinque Terre", five stunning and characteristic little villages diving into the sea, a landscape like few others: Monterosso, Corniglia, Vernazza, Manarola and Riomaggiore.

Furthermore, we decided to collect the main historical, artistic and natural features about the municipalities of Lerici, Porto Venere, Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, Sanremo, Sarzana, Recco, Camogli and Ventimiglia, obviously not forgetting about the regional provinces: Genoa, Savona, La Spezia and Imperia.

We would like to remind you that no visit to Liguria would be complete without a trip to one of its beautiful islands placed in the neighborhood: here visitors will have the chance to marvel at several karst caves, jagged costs, cliffs and steep slopes, the typical Ligurian landscape. Islands are easily accessible through an efficient Ferries Service which links them to many important Ligurian cities and ports (such as Porto Venere, Genoa or La Spezia) all day long.

Famous Sites in Morocco

Sand-dunes to snow-skiing, lush vineyards to hot deserts and mix in sandy beaches, Morocco has it all! This North-African region is often a sensory overload and multi-colored mesh of culture and design. Travelers will likely be awed by the beauty and timeless magnificence of this nation that may be resplendent in its culture, heritage and art.

Be allured from the breath-taking architecture of Morocco's mosques, palaces and historical websites which have been by the hundreds all close to this region. Leave your map behind as you visit the labyrinth of Marrakesh where by streets are filled with numerous distractions from snake-charmers to silver leather poufs. Dive into the myriad of stores in Marrakech's markets in which 1 can uncover anything from olives to carpets.

Then head on to Fès, the cultural and religious center of Morocco in which dynasties originating from Muslim Spain and Arab East collided. Along with its bazaars, mosques, medersas (theological colleges), tanneries and crammed streets; Fès has a certain spirituality to it that's a testament to its centuries-old heritage and traditions.

Go to the well known Casablanca in which Morocco is most cosmopolitan. Famed for its rich art galleries and clothing designers, this position exudes its richness and achievements on the world. The stifling traffic jams and shanty towns are contrasted through the city's hotels, parks, fountains and colonial architecture.

All these places have enjoyable backdrops of spots like the Sahara desert, the mountain ranges of High atlas or even the Oregano Mountains. If your looking for relaxation, traveling on the fishing villages of Dakhla along the Moroccan coast or on the beaches of Plage Quemada.

Never forget to see the a number of museums like the Museum of Antiquities or the Museum of Moroccan Art exactly where collections of historic manuscripts, pottery, jewelry and other old objects can be found. Entertainment doesn't stop there! Morocco's theater scene showcases the Shakespearean plays and different modern productions that are overflowing with Moroccan tradition and folklore.

Spring-time (mid-March to May) is when Morocco looks lush and green while autumn (September to November) is when the climate has cooled off. Be conscious too of the timing of the Ramadan since metropolis establishments close throughout the day and operate hours are concentrated.

Be certain to choose official guides in preference to faux guides that garner their commission from particular hotels or articles sold to you from particular stalls. Ladies should be alert to a certain level of sexual harassment that may be incurred from wearing improper clothing or by making eye-contact. If especially harassed, threatening to file a study for the tourism police or the brigade touristique can be very effective.

We often check out a world travel guide when we need to collect information about a place which we are planning to visit. The travel guides provide us complete details about a place like the cultural heritage sites to visit, best places to shop, accommodation options, the places to taste the best and traditional food, best time to visit, the specialties of that place etc.

Apart from the above mentioned tourist information in the travel portals, you can also find detailed information about the hostels and apartments on rent, available for a long stay at a place. You can also collect information about the car rental services available at that place and how you can arrange a car for yourself to make your trip more enjoyable and comfortable. You can also check out information on how to reach that place and the various modes of transportation available at that place.

However, the travel portals and guides do not provide ‘travel and holidays' related information alone. They have many other tools, which prove to be useful for a traveler. Few of these are mentioned below:

The Newsletters: Most of the travel portals publish E-newsletters which contain information about the best tour packages to the different places, the best hotel deals, cheap car hire, low cost flights and cruises, the up coming events and festivals in that place etc.

The interested travelers can sign up for the newsletters for free and receive them in their email on a regular basis with the latest updates.

Travel Journals: Travel guides also publish travel journals which contain tourist information and travel experiences of travelers. These journals contain information from first hand experiences. Therefore, they provide you tips to make your visit to a place enjoyable. Some of the journals also contain photographs, contributed by the tourists.

Weather Information: Travel portals offer real time weather forecast and information for different locations. They provide information about the weather conditions along with the minimum and maximum temperatures. It proves to be very useful for travelers.

Maps: All travel guides provide maps of places. These maps prove to be useful tools for travelers as they contain directions, detailed road maps of accessible area etc.

A travel guide without the above mentioned tools and features are not much useful for a traveler. However, even if a travel guide contains these tools, they need to be regularly updated, so that they are able to guide people accurately during their travel.

‘Places Online' is one of the best travel guides available on the internet. For more information you can visit www.placesonline.com.

Spain Travel Guide

Spain has become the must-see destination for over 50 million visitors every year, who come to this sun-blessed country to enjoy the amazing culture and ancient heritage as well as the great weather. Whether your tastes are more in tune with the fine art of Picasso or the flavors of a good Paella, Spain has something for everyone. Spain has opened several new airports in recent years, making it much easier to reach parts of the country that were once visited only by the hardiest of travelers. While this may make it more convenient to reach all the great sites, it has also made it more difficult to decide where to go.

Barcelona is a great place to start your travels. This beautiful city, founded in Roman times, rests on the Mediterranean Sea. For architecture enthusiasts, there are a variety of impressive sights, including Gaudi's Sagrada Familia and the Gothic Cathedral of Santa Eulalia. Whether you are looking for exciting festivities or a relaxing day at the beach, Barcelona has it. For anyone with a long weekend to spare, Barcelona offers a variety of attractions, restaurants, and shopping.

If you are a worshiper of the sun, then you need to make a trip to Alicante, which would be a perfect spot to visit after you stop in Barcelona since it is right down the coast from there. It is not hard to see why Alicante is a favorite among tourists since it has many beaches to sun bathe on and also has many more streets to roam. From Alicante, if you want adventure, you can visit a real pirate's cove at Tabarca or you can hop a train to visit the Palmeral of Elche, a designated world heritage site and also home to one of the biggest palm tree groves on the entire planet.

A short drive down the road is the city of Murcia, which is famous for its shear variety of options. Take in the breathtaking views of the great mountains, or absorb some of the best architecture in the area. There is plenty of sunshine, of course, as well as the spectacular Mar Menor. You will never forget that picture-perfect sunset of the pristine waters of the Mar Menor's great lagoon.

If you truly want dry and hot, than head for the port of Almeria. This great city has an average of 330 days without a drop of rain every year. Take a trip to the nearby desert of Tabernas and you will probably feel a sense of deja-vu, since so many of Hollywood's great westerns were filmed here. The history fans in your party will enjoy a tour of the amazing Alcazaba, the Moorish castle that has been a part of this city for centuries. Or, if you prefer the great outdoors, head to the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park, home to some of the world's most exciting geological features as well as some excellent diving.

If you are into extreme adventure, then you need to make Malaga one of your destinations on your vacation. It is close to the Costa del Sol which is another popular place to see. You can go tour the Picasso Museum, catch a bull fight or jump out of plane...all in one day. There is so much that Malaga and the Costa del Sol have to offer that you always be able to find something to suit your fancy. These two locations are very popular, not just with foreign travelers, but also with the Spanish.

Majorca Travel Guide

A Tourist's Guide to Menorca

Menorca is the second largest Balearic Island, after Majorca.  It is mainly popular for its abundance of beaches and low cost all inclusive family holidays.  It is very family friendly and far more quiet and calm than Mallorca, making it more popular with those who have young children.  This also means there is less of a drinking culture amongst the tourists who visit Menorca.

Best Time to Travel to Menorca

Menorca has a very pleasant climate, although the tramontana makes it very windy.  The windiest month is said to be March.  The best time to visit for a summer holiday are July and August, when the days are longest and you can enjoy the most sunshine.  October is the rainiest month and hence perhaps not the best month for a visit to Menorca.

 Attractions to See in Menorca

Menorca truly offers something to cater to all tastes.  For example:

Menorca harbors, where you can see the fishing boats in Arabic design.  It is also possible to take hour long organized harbor trips.

Es Freginal Park, which is a lovely park and outdoor area, ideal for picnics with the family.  Most of the cultural and music events of Menorca take place in El Freginal Park.

Xoriguer Distillery where Menorca's gin is distilled.  Of course, it is possible to not only purchase but also sample the gin as well as other alcoholic beverages at the distillery.

There are also many churches and cathedrals that you can visit as well as many museums.

 Restaurants and Bars in Menorca

Menorca offers some fantastic food, particularly since it grows most of its own vegetables.   You can enjoy traditional food in Menorca, including sea food and cheese.  The most famous vegetable of Menorca is the aubergine and you will find many dishes incorporating this vegetable in their recipes.  Olives and dried peppers also feature in Menorca's local cuisine.

Nightlife in Menorca is vibrant and interesting.  There are typically English nightclubs with a contemporary feel, piano bars for calm and quiet evenings as well as regular bars.  One of the interesting things about bars in Menorca is that closing time is when the last customer leaves.  This is also one of the reasons why most nightclubs don't open until much later in the evening.

 Transport in Menorca

If you are planning a visit to Menorca, hiring a car could be a great way to give yourself the freedom to see the full beauty of the island at your own pace.  There are many car hire companies available on Menorca, such as Poppy Car, Holiday Autos, Don Cars, Alquiler Moches, Hiper Rent a Car, Auto Europe and Autos Valls.  Because competition is fierce, hiring a car can be very cheap indeed.

So, if you are looking for a sun kissed family holiday, where you can not only lie on the beach and relax, but also enjoy many of the historically significant sights, as well as enjoying some truly amazing cuisine, particularly sea foods, Menorca is the place for you.

About the Author

If you do decide to opt for car hire Spain, it is a good idea to check out the rates and car hire companies before you travel.  AnyCarHire can help to organize a car hire Menorca Airport  to be waiting for you when you arrive, leaving you to have a stress free journey in complete relaxation.

Three Quick Points To Remember When Shopping For Accurate And Helpful India Travel Guide

India is one of the most wonderful places to travel to. Definitely a must see, India has captured at least 5 million foreign travelers alone every year, and that number does not include the domestic travelers who, in spite of growing in India, have never failed to see the marvel that they have with their country. If you are one of the million viewers of Incredible India or have known enough reasons why you can't miss India, we have here written three shopping guides for India travel guide to help make your backpacking a breeze.

Choose what you want to see. You may want to see all the famous places in India, but if you are not staying there for a month, then you can't see them all. In choosing an India travel guide, make sure that you know exactly what you want because chances are you really can't see everything you want in your itinerary.

In spite of the volume of India travel guide published annually, it is like a public secret that not any single one of those has everything you need to know. So make sure that you before you shop for a travel guide, you have already decided on your traveling goals and know exactly what you want to see when you get there.

Have something convenient. For some, having to always bring a travel guide is really inconvenient. This is why most travelers prefer the downloadable city guides. Once you purchased an India travel guide online, you can freely download a copy of the map to your reader or phone. And what's best about these digital travel guides is that you can easily merge whatever map you have installed in your phone so you can have a more accurate or precise imaging of the places you want to go to.

Know how long will you stay. Sure you want to come back for more after you have visited a number of famous India travel attractions. So you think that it's always best to buy a $500 since you know you will be using it for your travels. This is definitely one of the many mistakes most travelers make when shopping for an India travel guide.

The logic is that the purpose played by your travel guide is only good as your intended stay; if you booked a weekend trip, I don't really see the point of wasting $500 on a guide. A good rule of thumb: The shorter your stay, the better investment is an area-specific and smaller travel guide.

Macedonia Travel Guide

Troas , your Place of Waiting

This is the story of Brian Doersken, a Canadian songwriter and a worship leader. He was popular and known of his passion to lead worship to God. This is his strength, until tragedy

struck his family.. when three of his six children suffered fragile X syndrome. This genetic disorder causes varying degrees of mental retardation. His son Benjamin , a 10 year old requires a constant care.. needs to be assisted when brushing his teeth, changed his diapers and constantly need to be guided in his special diet.

Brian had to make a very serious decision..one that will put him away from his usual passion..to lead worship. With pain and heaviness in his heart, Brian considered leaving the music ministry so he can attend to his children.

His story happens to many people.. it may vary in situations and circumstances..but it has one thing in common, a closing of door . The Bible has given us an example of this problem in the life of Paul. He was successful in his mission trips.. where ever he goes there are people gathered to listened to him. There are people that are willing to assist him to gather this people. Everything seems to be doing well until one day, he and his companions can only travel in the Regions o f Phrygia and Galatia because the Holy Spirit prevented them to preached in Asia.

Upon reaching the border of Mysia, they again attempted to enter Bithynia but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them, So they remained to stay in Troas..without any speaking engagements. During the night, Paul had a vision of a man from Macedonia standing and begging him " to come to Macedonia and help us "

What is Troas? It is a place of waiting for a vision to be revealed . It is a place where all the doors are closed before you . though how much you would attempt to open it , you can''t. If you would use tools to forcibly open it... the more your situations become hurting, difficult and the longer you will stay in your Troas. Only God can open a door for us and can close it...and when He does nobody can .

What is your Troas ? It can be a closed door of opportunity,, where ever you would go ..everything are closed.. not even a window is open for you. Your Troas is your place of God''s dealing in your attitude, in your character and a place for Him to show Himself to you... for your faith, trust and belief in Him to grow.

Troas is a place for you to received your Macedonian vision, direction, guidance and reveals His plans to you.

Your Macedonia is your new opened door. Some stayed longer in their Troas because they resisted, evade or refuse the dealings of God. While others are still waiting for their Macedonian vision.. although they are already in the place of Macedonia... for they just failed to recognized it because they are so focus to their old door. Get your eyes off from it and begin to fix your sight where you are and you will be amaze to see how God has been busy in your new door.

Brian , in those limping period was able to write a song that would become popular

around the world. In those experiences he never give up his worship, even without the congregation beform.. alone in his room.. with his children , he continued to worship the Lord in his heart and the passion to worship continue to set him ablaze that inspired him to write " Come, now is the time to worship. "
