Travel India Guide

普通话 putonghua guidebook for INDIA?

Does anyone know if any company has ever published an extensive travel guide for INDIA written in Chinese 普通话 putonghua? Something similar to Lonely Planet or Rough Guide for backpackers.
I really am surprised that I nobody has ever made one. Entrepenuers take note!
In 2007, according to the Embassy of the Republic of India, 51,473 visas were issued to Chinese visitors, compared with 36,150 in 2006. The number of Chinese tourists to India has grown by 20% annually

(F.Y.I. 51,473 tourists x approx. 200RMB per guide book = 10,294,600RMB.)

Are you sure that all these tourist visas were issued solely for the purpose of tourism? Many go to India in order to explore the possibility of business and they possess fair knowledge of English. Anyway that's just my guess. I have been to India but never saw any significant number of Chinese tourists. If you really are so convinced about your guidebook proposition go and produce one instead of motivating others to write a guidebook.

btw what is potonghua? Don't mind my asking because all I could understand was that you were talking of some guidebook.
