which is safer for a 26 year old female american volunteer? honduras or guatemala?
I am volunteering for a program to help needy family's in either Copán Ruins, Honduras or Antigua Guatemala....need help deciding which would be safer for me. I trust the program when they say they we will be with experienced guides but traveling solo makes me a little nervous. Any suggestions?
tHEY ARE BOTH EQUALLY THE SAME WHEN IT COME TO SAFETY. I WOULD RECOMMEND HONDURAS. IT IS REALLY PRETTY. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T BE SHOWY WITH YOUR MONEY.....YOU SHOULD BE OKAY. HAVE FUN!
