Egypt Vacation: Alexandria, Cairo or Luxor?
Hi, my husband and I want to visit Egypt in September. I did a few research and found that it's best to visit Luxor. We're both architects and we appreciate much about the history of Architecture of Egypt. I'm wondering if we could visit two places for this trip, which do you recommend? Alexandria, Cairo or Luxor? Would you have travel itineraries you followed when you visited the place? Or a tour guide company to recommend? A reasonable priced hotel to stay?

If you're on a tight schedule, then skip Cairo, coz it's too big and too crowded, so you'll need a lotta time to navigate. If it's a long visit, I suggest 3 days in Alex, 5 days in Cairo and 4 days in Luxor and Aswan. As architects, Luxor and Alexandria are a must see for ya guys.Try checking out the 40+ albums in the "Discover Egypt" page on Facebook, I think you'll find em very interesting
