1910-1920 Baedeker guide? ?
I'm doing research on a woman who traveled through Italy, German, and the U.S. in the 1910s and 1920s. She uses a Baedeker guide as an analogy. I'd love to have a sample Baedeker like the ones she might have seen / used at that time for those countries. Short of looking on eBay, where else might I find one? Did Baedekers really change over time? Were they always red?
The woman is Mina Loy?
I'm afraid Baedekers aren't really my thing. But... as 'Baedeker' is an eponym, maybe you can request more info from their company.
