Going travelling and looking for a good guide book.?
Going to travel through, Thailand,Malaysia,Singapore,Philippines,Japan etc then hit Australia and New Zealand. Can anyone recommend a good travel book for this?
I like Fodor's - they have guides for Thailand and other SE Asian countries. Lonely Planet would be my 2nd choice. I don't care for the "Rough Guides." The Rough Guides series seem to have a lot of opinions and biases thrown in there and they read more negatively than do the other guides. I haven't noticed that they have any more information than say Fodor's or Lonely Planet.
