taking the kids to Boston for the 4th of July?
with two kids ages 7 and 10, we are trying to have the best time possible on a few hundred dollars. we found a hotel for $63 per night in chelsea. before we leave we will pickup some $5 pizzas on my college discount to eat on the trip up there. i plan to pack tons of quick and snacks and drinks to limit eating out costs.
my question is what are some cool things that we could do that are maybe not listed in most travel guides. i have the obvious attractions covered because we have been there before, but i know there must be so much more to do there.
Contact the Chamber of Commerce. They'll send you pamphlets/brochures of things to do and see and often it will include the prices of things and inform you what things are free admission.
